The redwood and stone exterior of this rambling ranch house seems to beckon a welcome. Inside it has many features that make a good home. It is on a modest scale yet you aren't aware of it. A roof over the entrance steps continues across the front of the living room as a trellis to give plants beneath it plenty of sun.
Note the large gliding bedroom and kit- chen windows, and the under roof windows which make tree tops and sky seem so near the living room.
